Autumn scripture
Nov. 10th, 2006 13:521 And behold, I say unto thee that in the land which I, the Lord thy God, promised thee, the weather in November shall suck. This say I that thy days may be wet upon the land, and thy camels likewise, yea, even unto the fourth generation.
2 Therefore, take heed, thou unrepentant and murmering children, that thou dost rake thy leaves before the rains come, lest they be too wet to mow. The cries and lamentations of thy suffering multitudes I will not hear, for thou ownest rakes.
3 A lo, no man knoweth the hour or the day the rains shall come. Watch therefore, lest ye be caught unaware, for the leaves of thy trees shall fall with none to tend them. That thou must therefore rake in the wet and cold is not My problem.

Date: 2006-11-10 21:11 (UTC)I don't mind winter. I like having four seasons. I'd just like them to make up their minds about when each one begins and ends. None of this, cold, then warm, then cold again monkey business. Bleah.

Date: 2006-11-10 22:02 (UTC)I live in Oregon. We only have two seasons -- wet (comprising 9-10 months) and dry (the remaining 2-3 months...-ish... when it's not raining).

14 Yea, verily yea. So sayeth the Lord, unto thee : Get thee the hell out of My House and they Bullshit likewise
15 For if thou dost remaineth so shall I send forth the rain in great sheets o'er many days, the better to cause the very hills to slump onto your roads and
16 cause your expensive beach-front houses and resort complexes that block the view and cause touristy crap to spring forth from the verdant forests to slip into the sea, just see if I don't
17 And that shall give you a right whatfor, I can assure you you pretentious bastards. Amen.
