Tuesday back at work.
Dec. 9th, 2008 11:01Gasoline: $1.29, QuikTrip, Noland and 23rd, Independence, MO.
Still sick, but came to work anyway. Two new customers added yesterday, and another possibly coming today. Need to be around for that no matter how I feel.
I'm doing okay. My head's a little swimmy (okay, a lot swimmy), but I can sit and type swimmingly here as effectively as I can sit and type swimmingly at home, and it makes my partners happy to have me here. Energy level is okay, so I'm good there.
It's snowing quite a bit here in Liberty. Not big flakes, but lots of them. Going to make for an interesting drive home, but I'm not really worried. My drive for self-preservation is strong, as is my homing sense. I once drove a 1980 Cutlass Supreme with a bad windshield wiper through a nighttime whiteout-snowstorm the forty-five miles from the airport to home. If I can do that, I can negotiate a route my car knows as well as I do.
If I could negotiate a nap into my day, that would be even better. :)
