A little frustrated

There's a video camera for sale on EBay that I believe would go a long way toward getting my filmmaking ball rolling.  It's used and a few years old, but has the capabilities that I need in a starter camera for one quarter of the present retail price - just a few hundred dollars.

Difficulty is we don't have the funds available.  This is the second time it's been listed, so it's like Fate is giving me another chance.  It's a deal that I feel strongly won't come around again, and I can't move on it.

Arrrgh! Bill, define 'few hundred dollars." To Trump, that could mean eight! Secondly, there are a few of us that would really like to see you succeed, just so that someday we might have our scripts rejected by you. Heck, if folks can do fund raising for laptops, there should be at least one for cameras.

We don't use Paypal personally and the auction hasn't ended, so we don't know what the end price is going to be. If we somehow can make this happen... I would like to put it on our Mastercard that has Fraud protection. I really don't know the best way to handle this.

I've thought a little more on it. I have the money to pay for the camera from our tax savings, so paying for the camera when the auction ends isn't a problem. It's getting the money back in the account for Sept 15 for our quarterly payment.

I think Wm wants to put a cap on his bid anyway.

Sept 15th? You are aware there is this thing that happens bout 2 weeks before that time? Where folks that love and support you guys would be able to say, "Hey. Bout that 50 that I'm giving to you, cuz you guys are the greatest. Here." I would say that any "Fund Cinematic Freedom" fund could fairly easily be done right then and there.
