...and not having a lot of luck at it. It's been a hard week. If you've been waiting to hear from me, I apologize. Full story told here. Now, to business.

Whatcha doin' Saturday? Anyone got an urge to do some gardening?

I've never been very good at asking for assistance, but we're in kind of a crunch.

We've got some peonies to move before they start poking up above ground. Right now they're on a slope that is quickly eroding and we'll lose them all if we don't move them before Autumn. That means moving them as soon as possible.

Looks like this weekend is IT for the move.

I'll be building a decorative fence in the morning, and I figure that by 1:00 or so we'll be ready to start moving the plants. It's not terrifically hard work, by any means, there's just a lot of it and with Michelle's breathing capacity diminished by asthma we could sure use the help. We're going to get a babysitter to watch the children so it'll be just us adults (fingers crossed).

With enough people, it shouldn't take more than a few hours.

There is nothing I would like better than to garden. One of my favorite things in the world. But due to circumstances beyond my control, I've pretty much had to give it up. I'd do it anyway but end up in bed for a few days or I was reduced to pointing where I wanted something and the kids, Chuiy or B would do it for me. I'm a frustrated ex-gardener. I love the springtime and watching the new plants come up. Well have fun with the peonies anyway.
