At the dentist this morning.

"Well, Bill, I'm not going to polish your teeth like I have in the past."

"No?"

"No, I have this new tool I started using when I ran out of polishing paste.  It sprays your teeth with a fine powder.  Leaves them feeling much cleaner."

"Some silicate then?"

"Aluminum hydroxide."

"So, you're going to sandblast my teeth."

She smiles somewhat testily, looking around to see if anyone overheard.  "We don't call it that."

Actually, it wasn't so bad. A lot grittier (duh) but it rinsed cleaner and was done in a fraction of the time.
