Yeah, it's advertising. I figured I'd give anyone online here an opportunity before I call Missouri Sewing Machine.
I have two machines for sale. Both are industrial, so if you're in the market for a portable tabletop machine to make Barbie clothes, don't bother.
Singer 111W. This is a walking-foot machine I've used for all of my leather work. It will handle up to 1/4" of leather. It's tempermental, but works really well. You can pick them up used from MSM (when they have them) for about $800.
I'm asking $500.
Brother DB2-B755 Straight Stitch machine. This is the workhorse of the Brother stable, a very fast and very capable straight stitch machine. Dial adjustable stitch length, with a backup bar. Self-oiling. Works like a champ and I'm sorry to let it go. Retails for about $1500.
Asking $1000.
I'm calling Missouri Sewing Machine tomorrow. Just FYI.
