Mine always hits after Christmas. Why you ask?

That slam-on-the-brakes-after-a-month-of-breakneck-speed thing. Ouch.

Thankfully, I'm back into my normal routine which always helps, and possessed of a completely torn up basement to work on, which also helps.

The Challenge: I made the mistake of not properly covering the basement wall where I want to work, so I have no idea where my attachment points are. I want to create a workstation for MIDI and audio, a rack hinged so that I can swing it out from the wall to access the back where all the wires are (or will be). To do that will require a very strong base to work from and I have no idea where the "studs" are. I'm thinking I may very well just get some extra long concrete screws and go straight through the drywall/wood into the concrete block behind. That'd do 'er.

Go to Lowe's over lunch to price the pieces.

The problem is that there is work that needs to be done, and setting up the rack is the first piece of it: until that's done everything else has to wait.

Situation normal.

Yep, here too...not badly, but a bit.

And Megan, honey, you can come here for biscuits, too. Heck, either of us can show you how to do biscuits; they're really quite easy!

*Smochies* to all of you!
