Change of plans: drips
Dec. 11th, 2008 21:06Nothing like a leaking dishwasher supply line to change how you'd planned to spend your evening. Not much, just a noticeable drip; the kitchen floor didn't get flooded until I de-cabineted and up-ended the thing to get to the underside.
A trip to the hardware store, a quick mop-up and re-install, and we're back in sudsy business.
$15 in parts (okay, part) and a couple gallons of gasoline, and an hour's time including the shopping. Much better than a $75 plumber bill.
Hey...that's funny. Plumber Bill. Get it?
