PRESENTING: A New BillTheTailor's LiveJournal Feature

Excuse Me

A place for me to tell people, usually perfect strangers, things I would never have the opportunity to say to them otherwise.  I'm pretty sure they'll never see it, but it's my damn jounal and largely masturbatory anyway.

Let's begin, shall we?

Excuse me, miss, you there standing in line at the post office.  I realize this is just an opinion thing, and where you come from it's probably the height of fashion.  I can see you're very slight, narrow shouldered and petite.  I'm sure that, were the rest of you visible, you'd be very attractive.

It's just that - not that it's any of my business - it's just that when your hair is wider than your body, you look like a hairsprayed Tootsie-Pop.

When did you have hair? ;)

Anyway, in that shot you remind me of David Thewlis, who played Prof. Lupin in Harry Potter. He was also the bad prince in Dragonheart (pix below)

A long time ago. And I really REALLY like David Thewlis. Every time I watch DragonHeart I can only wonder at the amount of sliminess he manages.

Thank you. I had to manufacture it - in the original picture I'm holding the skull in my lap. I was going through some old pictures and found that one and immediately thought it needed to be an icon.

That's the pic I was telling you about Saturday. Doctored, but essentially the same.

Yep, that's what I thought. I'd love to see a bigger image of it.

But right now I'm off to get fabric to cover the Liberty pedestal (so I don't have to paint the damned thing...who knew that "SeaFoam Green" would become completely unavailable in spray paint?) and the fabric for your cape.

I think I am going to do the whole "sincerest form of flattery" thing and copy the Excuse Me format for my journal. I assure you, in the military it will probably be utilized often.
