Dancing in the streets

A couple nights ago, with a boil order in place in Independence and unable to make supper without a bit more fuss than usual, we visited a local steakhouse with the kids.
A few minutes after the appetizer plate arrived the music suddenly got really loud, and every server not otherwise engaged lined up in the aisles and began line dancing to "Redneck Woman".
Step - step - shuffle - step step step - CLAP
Step - step - shuffle - step step step - CLAP
Katie watches all this activity in amazement, and finally leans down to me and says close to my ear, "Wow, daddy...they must really like this song."
Chapter 2
As we're getting ready to leave, the music rises again and our server steps into line. Katie is completely beside herself, and, after asking politely, leaves the booth and joins the line.
She spends the whole song dancing with the employees, learning the moves as she goes with the patient teaching of our server.
By the end, she was hitting nearly every step. THAT was fun to watch.
