So yesterday I make this comment, quite facetiously, about having a postcard list. Several people responded, which surprised me, but that's GREAT.

One small problem. NEED MAILING ADDRESSES! Unless you want your postcards electronic. At [livejournal.com profile] purpledumbass's suggestion we'll take lots of pictures and I'll post them online sometime next week.

I had my reservations about taking this trip, true, but I'm starting to look forward to it. The whole fam' is on the back end of rather severe colds, but the fresh air, sunshine, and deep fried foods will do us good.

Hee.

Yay! It's all set up, I just emailed Michelle.

Ya know, that is why I still love dealing with the Bernina folk in KC. I bought that machine 10 years ago and they still service it under warranty without my even having to ask.

Can't wait to see you guys this weekend! Now, be prepared...it is supposed to rain a bit on Sunday but there are plenty of booths to duck into until it's over. People are very philosophical about that around here and we need the rain!

Rain's fine with me. My only real worry is J...he's still coughing some at night, though we're not sure why, and maybe the weather will exacerbate the problem, maybe it won't. No way to know, since we don't know exactly what's causing the cough. Could just be slow to heal, like the rest of us.

Was thinking of coming in costume, but not sure if I can muster the energy, plus I've always hated the look of folks in costume pushing strollers. I do have a new tights fabric to show around - it's called "cotton-lyrca terry", and it's the nicest stuff we've ever seen. Looks just like the normal fabric on the right side, but the inside is really soft, almost like a sweathshirt fabric. Mmmmmmmm...

OOOh, that sounds neat! I may want a pair of those for myownself for when it's cold!

And yeah, I'd only bother with costume if you're wanting to pim, er, advertise by wearing your product. If there's anywhere in the world you can mix garb with anachronisms, Norman is just the place. Youi'll see *everything*, trust me! The camera is worth bringing to get shots of things that are totally wrong and worth shooting as such. You'll see lots and lots of costumed parents pushing strollers, so it's entirely up to you, of course.

If you take I-35, you'll come through Emporia. Could you stop long enough to give me a swatch of the tights fabric? Pretty please?

(I'm on call, so it is No Way In Hell of leaving town to run down to Norman this weekend, dammitalltohell.)

No problem! I recently rebuilt my machine, and in the process lost all my email addresses. Could you go to http://www.seamlyne.com/catalog/Scripts/contactUs.asp and drop me a note, and I'll email you right back and we'll make arrangements.
