Alright-y then.
Mar. 30th, 2006 09:35So yesterday I make this comment, quite facetiously, about having a postcard list. Several people responded, which surprised me, but that's GREAT.
One small problem. NEED MAILING ADDRESSES! Unless you want your postcards electronic. At
purpledumbass's suggestion we'll take lots of pictures and I'll post them online sometime next week.
I had my reservations about taking this trip, true, but I'm starting to look forward to it. The whole fam' is on the back end of rather severe colds, but the fresh air, sunshine, and deep fried foods will do us good.
Hee.

Can't wait to see you guys this weekend! Now, be prepared...it is supposed to rain a bit on Sunday but there are plenty of booths to duck into until it's over. People are very philosophical about that around here and we need the rain!

Date: 2006-03-30 16:31 (UTC)Was thinking of coming in costume, but not sure if I can muster the energy, plus I've always hated the look of folks in costume pushing strollers. I do have a new tights fabric to show around - it's called "cotton-lyrca terry", and it's the nicest stuff we've ever seen. Looks just like the normal fabric on the right side, but the inside is really soft, almost like a sweathshirt fabric. Mmmmmmmm...

If there's anywhere in the world you can mix garb with anachronisms, Norman is just the place. Youi'll see *everything*, trust me! The camera is worth bringing to get shots of things that are totally wrong and worth shooting as such. You'll see lots and lots of costumed parents pushing strollers, so it's entirely up to you, of course.
