Noisy afternoon
Mar. 14th, 2006 10:12I heard on the news this morning that the National Weather Service is going to be conducting emergency warning tests today: sirens will be blaring, alerts broadcast over the tv and radio. According to my sources at KMBZ, the tests will be at 1:30.
Don't panic.
They're from the government. They're here to help.

Date: 2006-03-14 16:19 (UTC)(Those used to be the two biggest lies in the Air Force Inventory (tm). When an Inspector General team arrived at a base the team leader would tell the base commander "We're here to help." The base commander would answer "We're glad you're here." In reality more base commanders got fired for lousy IG reports than for any other cause.)
