[x] I remember when there was no such thing as a computer -- this one's a little silly. Considering the first "counting machine" was a jacquard loom in the sixteenth century, anyone alive still to remember it would be a true curiosity. So, let's be specific, shall we? I remember when there were no personal computers. The computers my father had in the house were desk size things with small screens and little power. To equal the amount of storage space hanging around my neck this minute would have required a stack of 30" platters a hundred feet tall weighing half a ton.
