1. Do you have a real or fake Christmas Tree?
Artificial, 7', prelit. Anything to save time, baby.
2. Do you put up Christmas lights on the exterior of your home?
Oh, a little. Around the two entrance doors, front and side. We did decorate the trees, dogwood and redbud, in the side yard. That looks really nice.
3. What's your favorite Christmas song/carol?
I have two. The Carol of the Bells...and I really really like the David Foster arrangement, it rocks. The other, It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas, as sung by Bing Crosby.
Late edit: don't know how I forgot this one. Yeah, it's a little smarmy, but I also really enjoy "Christmas in Killarney", and I sort of wish the Bing Crosby version was a little less cheesy, and a little more traditional.
4. What do you like better, turkey or ham?
Turkey, just because we only ever seem to have it at Christmas time.

We split between. We go over to Pa and Grandmomma's house on C.Eve for presents there, then do our family tree and stockings at home on C. morning.
6. Have you ever been Christmas Caroling?
Not that I volunteered for. It seems inconceivable that I haven't giving my participation in choirs in high school, but I don't remember any particular instance. With my memory f'ed up as it is, it's hard to say.
7. What was your most memorable Christmas gift(s) that you received?
Ah, this is an easy one. After

Only once, even though I already had a strong suspicion what was in the box: the Mattel Death Star Playset.

An angel. Very Victorian looking.
12. Do you own a Santa hat?
*snort* That would be a "no."

Long enough ago that I don't remember how old I was.
14. Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?
Since the only person I shopped for was

Nope. Make's them too hard to find when one wants to stir one's hot chocolate.

Just about everybody I know, with one exception.
17. Who is the easiest person to buy for?
My wife, who emails me "hints" as to what she wants.

Long enough ago that I don't remember how old I was.
19. What does your morning of Christmas routine consist of?
Same an any morning that I don't have to go to work, except that it starts with emptying stockings and opening gifts. Then breakfast, and on with the day.
20. Egg nog?
Not so much anymore. Used to.
21. What do you want for Christmas this year?
Health for my family. My children both have ongoing - one might even say chronic - health issues. For me personally? Money, as always, and the security having enough of it would bring.
