Seven Deadly Sins: Lust

Day 1 - Pride. Seven great things about yourself.
Day 2 - Envy. Seven things you lack and covet.
Day 3 - Wrath. Seven things that piss you off.
Day 4 - Sloth. Seven things you neglect to do.
Day 5 - Greed. Seven worldly material desires.
Day 6 - Gluttony. Seven guilty pleasures.
Day 7 - Lust. Seven love secrets.
This one is the hardest to write about, frankly. I'm pretty private about stuff - I don't care to air my laundry, dirty or otherwise - but I took this meme on, so I mean to finish it. Also problematic is that at my age, in a committed and monogamous relationship for nearly two decades, anything I write is likely to be only theoretical. In any case, my tastes are pretty pedestrian - I'm not going to write anything revolutionary, even if I was minded to. I haven't forgotten, though, what it's like to be young and in love...or lust.
1. Sexy is as sexy does. How you act in general and toward me in particular is at least as important as how you look.
2. Be passionate. I don't mean in the bedroom, although that doesn't hurt, certainly. Be passionate about what you do, where you are, who you are. By extension, be passionate about me.
3. Talk dirty if you like, but don't expect to hear a lot from me in return. Literal minded and self conscious as I am, anything I have to say if it comes to that is going to sound lame to my own ears - so I just don't talk that much.
4. Don't make me guess. I suck at it. This doesn't just mean in the bedroom: under any circumstances, making me work at knowing how to please you is a huge turn-off. "Wow, that's really neat" isn't the same thing as "Wow, buy that for me." I don't look for hidden meaning; without a reason to do so, I don't read between the lines.
5. As an HSP, my senses are very open, pretty much all the time. Sights, smells, tastes, touches - they hit cumulatively and with little filtering. Food with a variety of textures, a pretty blouse with a bit of lace and shadow in a deeply scooped neckline, sweeping orchestral music in the soft light of afternoon: all are transcendent experiences for me. Conversely, choas is highly upsetting. Keep a calm environment for me.
6. I like to touch, and be touched. 'Nuf said.
7. I am completely inept at reading inter-personal cues and have a deep, deep fear of rejection. Rarely will I make the first move. If I look interested, I am - and looking interested is as pro-active as I get - thus, go back to the beginning of this list and read 1 - 6 again.
