Indian food
Feb. 3rd, 2009 21:23Indian Food, or How We Managed To Leave A Restaurant And Not Think, "Well, that was a waste of money."
Don't ask me how or why it happened, maybe Michelle will write about that on her LiveJournal. Suffice it to say that we ended up at Taj Mahal East (yes, Jeho, that Taj Mahal, but with a new location in Independence) for supper. Katie was at the grandparents, so we were free to be adventurous. We had chicken tikka masala and beef bhuna. We even ordered off-menu, newbies that we are, and got peshwari naan.
I don't know that I could eat it every day, but Holy God that was good food. Maybe my first few experiences with Indian food my palette just wasn't evolved enough. We left the restaurant vowing to return, and it also appears to a place where we can take Katie to eat which is a bonus.
