A hard night, full of unpleasant dreams of struggling and conflict and anger, focused on no one and no one thing in particular.  Less of that, please.

So I got up cranky.  Happy fuckin' Friday.

This weekend, though, is supposed to be dry and cool, so I might actually get to hang the siding we purchased.  Tonight, Katie and I will paint it - at least I think we will.  There might be something on the calendar I've forgotten about.  It happens.

I hate to admit it, but I'm discovering the joys - or at least, pleasant diversions - of FaceBook.  Everyone from my old high school is on it, so I joined just to keep in touch and every day I find a little more to like.  Like any tool, it has its purpose; I don't know that I'll ever move there to blog, it doesn't seem like it's made for that, but we'll see.

It's been twenty years, and it shows. I can't say I hated the movie, but there were so many little things wrong with it that I had a difficult time enjoying it. I'm as willing as the next person to suspend disbelief, but come on!
