A forgotten gem...

I've been going through my (large) collection of cassette tapes, deciding which to keep and which to toss and which to burn.  I came across a recording off the radio I'd forgotten I'd made, probably sometime in 1998.  It's from A Prairie Home Companion, a show featuring Connie Dover and Roger Landes.

I have three pieces to share, and I'll parcel them out over the next few days.  The first, Connie never names on the air, but Jeho provided the title for me:

Last Night's Fun.

FWIW, it's called "Last Night's Fun." I don't know the name of the instrumental tune. It's been a long time, but I don't think that's the tune that they originally arranged with the song. It was recorded by Scartaglen on the album of the same name (track 1) back in the early 90s.
