Ya, he won it earlier this year and has been touring. His first album either just came out or will be released soon. He was on the Today show a couple weeks ago. Truly amazing.

In that initial audition you look at him and can't help thinking, "Well, this guy's gonna SUCK,"...and then he opens that throat and SINGS. Fantastic.
