February 9th, time TBA (tentative) Missouri Valley Folklife Society Concert, Community Christian Church on the Plaza.
So, there you go. The MVFS concert is for Scots and Breton music, so I'm going to have to learn some new stuff. Sources anyone?

Recordings
For your style, I'd suggest listening to some Dougie MacLean, Jim Malcolm (solo preferred, but Old Blind Dogs after he joined would be acceptable), Jock Tamson's Bairns, Ossian or Tony Cuffe solo, Smalltalk.
