I did something similar with footage from a movie I was in two years ago. The director had a thing for pausing scenes - you can read about it here

I took an hour's worth of footage and edited it down to just the "pause"es, "cut"s, "action"s, and line flubs. It's a fun watch. I'm thinking about putting it on YouTube.
