That's amazing; what a healthy way to handle the issue. I agree with the teacher that kids that age are not too young to understand death and dying. By moving through that process naturally, but hell, I'm preaching to the choir, amn't I?

Not sure how I feel about that one. I can see both sides equally as a parent as well as from a psychological aspect. Will have to think on it...

That is awesome! I think that crafting something for their teacher is an excellent way to show their affections for her, and also help them work through the grieving process.
