Wednesday state of the Bill

1. Broke down and placed an order for Astral Sea incense, and so glad I did. A bundle each of Money Draw and Astral Sea, my two favorite scents. I could have asked Danny to bring them on Saturday, but he's got enough on his plate during the week and often forgets when I ask. I also bought a pound of Dragon's Blood cones, and it was an interesting choice: not a smell I've smelled in that form since The Dark Year.

2. Redrafted my parti-color tights pattern, something I've needed to do for more than a year. It looks better, fits better. Murphy asked for a pair of tights with a side stripe, and I made that my reason. They turned out very nice.

3. Changing our DirecTv subscription so I'll finally have DVR in the shop. Should have done that back in July, but, hey, I'll take what I can get. It'll beat downloading everything I want to watch via bittorrent and copying to flash drive.

Bonus: Katie wants to be "Endor Leia" for Hallowe'en. From a local thrift store I scored the belt and a plastic toy ray gun that will work with very few modifications. Still working out how I want to do the hat she wears, but it looks like a dressed up baseball cap, and I can work with that idea.
