Three positives, 9/18

mapsedgeIt was a hard day, ultimately (see previous post), but I think I can drag something out of it.
1. The migraine that had Michelle under treatment in the ER responded to treatment, and while it isn't gone completely and she's loopy/sleepy from the meds, she is substantially better than she was. When we arrived, she couldn't have walked if her life depended on it. She left the hospital under her own steam.
2. We're home, soon to be sleeping in our own bed. No overnight stay, no twenty-four hour D.H.E. treatment. She'll follow up with her neurologist tomorrow.
3. The children did fine. They're old enough now it's not a mad scramble to find kidsitting if we have to leave. Michelle's parents stopped by on their way home from church so the kids weren't alone all evening, but they have a couple hours at least to themselves and it went okay.
