Wednesday morning

mapsedgeI did eventually sleep last night, but for only a couple hours. I think it was Katie's coughing that was keeping me up. If I can get to sleep before it starts, I can fall back to sleep; if she's coughing before I sleep, then there is no sleep.
Naturally I don't feel good this morning, sluggish and irritable, with reflexes like trying to move through water. As I was driving in to work, I was not comforted by the thought that there were - just a guess here - at least six other drivers on the road who feel like I do and who could be on the same stretch of road as me. What a party that would be.
I'll be fine by afternoon, I just have to get there.
