A much needed evening off
Dec. 19th, 2007 08:38Had a terrific evening with
glesyn and (I guessing here)
raibeart who got to experience "The Roast Beef Dinner." We talked until way-too-late, and laughed hard enough that I think Michelle might actually have done some damage to herself. (Bronchitis + comedy...never a good combination.) A surprise visit from a couple of guys (strangely, I can't remember their names, but they looked a lot alike...) added just that much more energy to an already good night.
I slept better than I have in a while - very tired, but the tired that comes with a fun evening and not just stress.
The rest of the week - indeed until New Year's eve, the screws will tighten some just because there's a video project to finish (with help from the aforementioned "couple of guys", thankfully I'm not doing it all by myself); Seamlyne orders to finish; a website to shut down; and a shop to retool/rearrange and most of all to CLEAN.
In there we still have Christmas and seasonal gatherings with friends and family. It's all good, all do-able.
Finally, a picture of the Christmas Pageant, with the set in the sanctuary. It's obscured some by the crowd, but I thought it was a neat picture anyway. (If you're wondering, K is second from the left.) I'll post a couple of other pictures later.
