mapsedge: Me at Stone Bridge Coffee House (Default)

One of the worst things about being a do-it-yerselfer, especially with a driveway whose composition and level of wear makes it impossible to see debris on it, is that, should you drop something small on said driveway, you'll have the devil's own time finding it again.  Something small like, oh, say, a nail.

Funny thing though, I didn't have to find it.  My left front tire found it for me.  That nail has been riding contentedly in that tire for several months, now, creating an extremely slow leak.  Every three weeks or so the discrepancy between the two front tires begins to noticeably affect handling, so I air up the tire.

NO MORE, I SAY!  This shall be an end of it!  No more will I bow down to the tire-ant, subject myself to the tire-anny!

And besides, I have a Firestone just two blocks from my office.  When the work day is done, I'll walk down there and get my car on the way home.  Maybe a haircut at the barbershop across the street while I'm at it.

Done.
