Note to self:
Sep. 27th, 2007 06:25Before agreeing to take someone to the airport, establish what time the flight leaves.
I took K & K to the airport this morning for a gig they have in LA. Working it backward:
Flight leaves at 6:30a.m, which means
Having them at the airport by 5:30a.m., which means
Picking them up at 4:30a.m., which means
Leaving my house at 4:15a.m., which means
Setting the alarm for, and getting up at 3:45a.m.
Coffee just doesn't touch it.
Since my office is closer to the airport than my home, I came straight to work. I've been here since 5:45. Maybe I'll leave early, say, 2:00, go home, nap, work from home for a few hours. If I can get my daily goals done by doing so. Yeah, that's a plan.
Bill is not a morning person, though being at the office, working, without the phone ringing is nice.
p.s. Don't misunderstand me: friends for more than twenty years, I love Kent and Kevin, and was glad to take them. No "buts" about it. I'm just sleepy right now.
