Weekend update
Sep. 18th, 2006 08:38![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
It rambles a bit, but I need to start my work day, so this'll be stream-of-consciousness. Those who know me will probably be able to follow along.
It was a pleasant ride in to the office this morning.
mljm and I were up early (on purpose) and I was out the door a little earlier than normal, causing one of my partners here to wonder if anything was wrong with one of our software products. "No, everything's fine, I just happened to get out the door earlier", I told him, omitting the part that I actually set my alarm this morning, which I usually don't.
The hills are starting to fade a bit, though they haven't started to show fall colors just yet. The trees outside the office here are dropping leaves by ones and twos, and the air stung coldly a little bit when I breathed deep.
Oh yes...autumn is coming.
A good visit to KCRF yesterday to meet up with
5rings. I got to see many friends, like I do, and for the first time heard Maidens Whymsie perform. Their music is wonderful, and they are...shall we say, agreeable :) ...to look at. Took lots of pictures that I'll have developed today and hopefully have on their website this week.
Spent more time "upstairs" and with my family than I usually get, which hopefully will increase as time wears on and the sewing orders slack off for the season. Then it will be on to finishing the dining room drywall and windows.
All in all, not a bad weekend.
