I can't decide. Maybe it's the unaccustomed body movements involved in smoothing drywall joint compound, and the repeated bending and straightening from wall to bucket. That could account for the lower back.

Reaching with a long pole to paint the ceiling over a king-sized bed in a queen-sized room could account for upper arms.

Cutting in with a brush, gently pushing the paint from the wall up to the edge of the ceiling just so accounts for the hands. Doing so bending backwards Michaelangelo-like accounts for the neck.

BUT.

Our bedroom is now a very nice cafe au lait color, warm and inviting. The ceiling is a warm beige (no comments from the gallery, please). Tonight is touch-ups where the paint didn't quite cover.

Don'tcha just love that new paint smell? And new carpet on Wednesday.
