Flu Watch: Day 5

mapsedgeH1N1, confirmation from the kid's pediatrician. I'm past it, I think, feeling now like I've got a terrible head cold. Katie's suffering from it like I did, irritable, to be sure, a light fever, miserable but not down.
Jami, on the other hand, poor little guy, is spiking a fever above 103°. He's got the chills and shakes. He threw up this morning, but not since so far as I know. I got him out of the bath a few minutes ago, trying to cool his body. Washing his hair was painful for him. It breaks the heart.
The true worry is that he'll get hit harder. Flu is, after all, a respiratory attack, and his respiratory system is compromised because of the pectus. We're watching him closely.
