A Question...
Jun. 21st, 2009 12:01I have what I recognize as a rhetorical question which occurred to me this morning as I struggled - and failed - to keep my voice level as I spoke to my daughter after she closed the trunk lid on her brother's head. She called out "Move!" as she closed it. He couldn't have avoided it even had he been minded to try*.
If there is a God, and I'm increasingly losing my conviction that there is, and if this Bit of Collective Fiction has in His heart the best interests of His creation, why give an autistic child to a father with anger management issues?
There's a whole lot more brewing in here, but it will keep for now.
* For the record, Jami's fine - he got bumped is all.
