There are so many roads visible from I29 between KC and the Iowa line that just neeeeed exploring. I still have memories of the country roads between Mound City and --- Rockport, was it? Before that stretch of I29 was finished, driving up to see my grandfather in Southeast Nebraska. M and I want to take that route sometime, when we're going North in no particular hurry.
I know those storms, especially beautiful in the river valley North of Mound City. Many memories there, too.
