• That we are a family of happy four, instead of sad three, or pissed off three and one, either of which seemed like possibilities in the last year;


• That we have a house to live in that is ours;


• That said house, in spite of the efforts of my uncle, father, and now me, is standing and warm;


• That I have the health and skills and tools to keep it that way;


• That I have the talents and skills needed to support my family and household;


• That I have music in my life and the instruments to play it on, metaphorically and literally;


• That my children have grandparents that love them;


• That I know you (and you know who you are)
