Back to mostly human
Feb. 12th, 2008 09:16It's been roughly three weeks, and I'm finally back to feeling like my normal self. Still a little tightness in the chest - a dry unproductive cough that won't quite go away, but isn't imperative. Mucinex DM is keeping that mostly at bay. If I try to talk too much I will cough (gratefully, I have a "mute" button on my headset phone) but I can laugh again without descending into a paroxysm of hacking.
Sleeping through the night is good, too.
Michelle has yet to reach this stage, but her problem is her ears and general energy level. She tires quickly, and the world echoes in her head. She did see a doctor and is taking a rather strong round of antibiotics to kill a sinus (ear, maybe?) infection. A few more days, we all ought to be right as rain.
