Stomach bug recovery
Mar. 30th, 2007 09:54I am, at least, functioning today. I am upright, thinking more or less coherently as long as my energy lasts. Good thing, too, as there's a full work schedule ahead of me for the day.
I don't know what it is. I hit forty (a year ago, for those keeping score), and all of a sudden - after twenty-five years or so of reasonably good health - every little bug starts hitting me like I was five years old again. Sheesh.
On top of that, I pass out for a day, and I wake up to find two new trees and three hostas in my front yard! Michelle planted a dogwood just outside our bedroom window that in a few years will be absolutely gorgeous, and a flowering peach(?) near the new fence to fill in some empty space in the center of the yard. Nice job, Missy, well done!
This weekend? If I'm not programming, I'll be doing drywall. If not drywall, I'll be sewing. If not sewing, making a cabinet to fill in the empty corner in the dining room counter. (Honey, I had a brainstorm yesterday that was a long time coming, and can't believe it took so long. I'll fill you in later)
