Second degree burns suck.

This actually happened last weekend, but I figured the story could wait until I got the other stuff off my chest.

I like cappuchino. So much so that, given enough cash, I would stop at the local coffeeshop every morning on my way to work. Since I can't afford that, I have never been without an espresso machine since just before my daughter was born. I got my first one as a "reward" for taking my long weekend over Thanksgiving to get her room ready. It was a KitchenAid small appliance, espresso/steam on one side and regular coffee on the other. I all but destroyed the thing through nearly constant use. Since I was still not in a position to really spend some money, I replaced it with a perfectly serviceable boiler-style Mr. Coffee. You know the one: Wal*Mart carries it for about $15.00.

Then, on Ebay I found a pump-style machine. ( disaster snipped.. )
