1. Where did you begin 2008?
I was probably asleep in my bed...or, awake, listening to my idiot neighbors shooting guns in the air, praying that a stray bullet wouldn't fall through my ceiling and kill me or my family.

According to Mythbusters...
Date: 2008-12-17 16:27 (UTC)The returning bullet is at terminal velocity (32 ft per second) after expending all applied thrust (the gunpowder) reaching its ascent apogee, pausing, then falling due to gravity.
That small of a mass at 32 ft per second would bruise your head, but not penetrate your flesh.
In short - It will bounce off the shingles.
The bullet you have to worry about is one fired with any lateral elevation from farther away. It still has the energy of the cartridge behind it.
An ARROW, on the other hand is still pretty lethal when falling on you at terminal velocity.
