I goofed. I loaded the 3.0 when it came out and somehow messed up all my firefox. removed it, reloaded 2.0.0.14, then --.15, and it's still messed up. It's bad enough I'm back to using (shudder) IE.

There are a few fixes for that location bar issue. I didn't like it even a little bit, so I went looking. Here's a discussion of it:

This is by the guy that designed the oldbar addon, which will make FF3's address bar act like FF2's address bar. Oldbar can be found here:
