I've always considered myself blessed to have connection with so much of my family. My dad's family all lives within 50 miles of here (with the rogue exceptions in AZ and now CA) and I've had great aunts and uncles my entire life. I know all my cousins on my mom's side and we're as close as adults in different parts of the state/country can be. Now with Matt's bio-family we're growing and gaining more loving family. Luckily they're all about keeping close and keeping family history alive. I totally identify with your desire to pass that along. With a name like Lee my family history is effectively gone because no one took the time to trace it or to share the history. My mom's family, and Matt's bio-maternal family are well documented and that's COOL.
