I've become a big fan of Singer's Saving Grace spray. Tastes like shit* but works, at least in the short term, if you're having voice/throat issues.

* I'm skeptical that most herbals actually work by some intrinsic physiological or chemical mechanism. They just taste so nasty that it's in your bodies best interest to not be sick anymore to avoid more dosing.
