The Fundamentalist Right's obsession with sexuality and control over it smacks of Shakespeare - paraphrased: "They doth protest too much"
You can't be so obsessed with something unless you are hating something within yourself, concealing what you truly feel and think, and rather than dealing with that you try to stomp it out in everyone else.
How many more Conservative congressmen busted in rest rooms will it take? How many more evangelists caught with hookers (gay and straight) until America finally takes away the authority and credibility handed over to the christian fundamentalists? When will America finally grow up?
And on the heels of this, for the time being it's legal for gays to marry in Iowa. Their amendment banning gay marriage has been struck down.
I think that's what America needs to get over - trying to control what everybody else does because gawd says so. Tend to your own house and keep your nose out of mine.
