It amazes me still - and I didn't come to this realization until I grew past my adolescence at ren fest - how many people I know that I don't really know. My partners at work, friends made through ren fest, hell, for that matter, my wife until 1998 when we started to reassemble the pieces of our marriage that I'd scattered about.
