Friday update

Today is going to be a hell day. I can already tell. My to-do list is long; the day-job will, once again, bleed into my weekend; my partner here is at a high level of anxiety over a new client and their data demands; I've got an SSL issue to fix for a client we've been nibbling at with errors for the last two weeks.

Oooooh, yeah. Keepin' the ibuprofen close. Now if I just had some brandy or cognac.

Does it help if I tell you everything is really nice at home this morning. Katie picked up her room, made her bed and the first load of laundry is up outside.

GET. OUT!! Kristen Hall?? You have a cd of hers? I saw her back in '89 as she opened for an Indigo Girls show and one of my dorm-mates picked up her tape (yeah, tape) which I promptly copied. And have since lost, not that I even have a tape player with which to listen to it, but I LOVED that album. I tried to find the same recording on CD since then and have been unsuccessful. :( Any chance you have "Real Life Stuff"?

I think I have THREE CDs of hers, but I don't remember which ones, and "Real Life Stuff" now retails for $99. Yep, Nine-nine-decimal-zero-zero. Apparently it's a collectors item. I'll have to dig through my boxes and find out which ones I have.
