The last time anyone saw me with a beard, it took me an hour and three quarters, most of a bottle of 3M medical adhesive, and half a yak to get the look. I like this picture, though, and at the moment, it's the only one I have access to that I'm willing to put online.

I have a couple pics of ya I'll try to scour the hard drive at home for... One of which was taken by Orca last year or the year prior on your family's visit out at Faire... Great picture though.

Really? Jeez...someone's actually got a picture of me in civvies. That ought to be amusing. I still have, in a place of honor on my server at home, a picture I took at Muskogee. You'd set up camp there by the jousting field, and stuck an arrow - just one arrow - in the end of the sleeping log that formed the south boundary of the camp. I don't remember why, but you climbed up on the thing and, legs dangling, leaned over the end looking for all the world like you'd been shot. Todd proudly leaned on you, the Great Ever So White Hunter, and snapped the picture.

I don't remember, though, if I ever sent you a copy.

Actually, I didn't claim that the pics were of YOU in civvies. Your wife, yes. you're in costume. :-P

And I believe that Todd forwarded that pic of me slumped over the log... Very funny at the time too. There at Muskogee, I'd kinda claimed that particular stump/branch as mine to nap on while we had the camp setup. With my legs sprawled across it like that, it was a natural place to sit. But when I was exhausted and slumped down on my belly across that limb, it just happened that one of the spare arrows was lodged into the end of the stump so that it looked like I'd been shot in the head. So, far be it from you and Todd to miss the photo op.... :)
