Copyright vs. patent question
Does anyone know..?
Do you copyright a garment pattern, or patent it? I'm thinking copyright, but I'm not sure.

Copyrights
are for intellectual materials from written word to music to graphics, and I would believe patterns.
Patents
are for processes and manufactured goods.
But your pattern might fall under either.

I believe this to be true, copyright for the pattern.

That's sort of how I'm leaning... I supposed I could submit one and find out, eh?
