Annnnnnnnnd...we're off!

Sleep study number 2, now new and improved with 100% more CPAP machine.

We'll see how this goes. I have a fantasy in my head that it'll be the best sleep ever, remembering the nightmare that was Somnitech and my previous sleep study, but realistically, I think the truth will lie somewhere in between. At least this one will be reviewed by a real doctor, a specialist in sleep disorders, AND I'll be on a TempurPedic mattress. Already it's better than the last time.

Film at 11...or, more accurately, 6:30am tomorrow when I get home.

You'll have to let me know how the mattress is. [livejournal.com profile] buffalowmn and I are in the market for a new mattress, and that is one I'm rather intrigued by.

My worry is that it would be too hot and that I would wake up drenched in sweat in the middle of the night. I have that issue on standard air mattresses if there's not enough padding (sleeping bag, sheets, blankets, etc.) between me and the plastic (or fake velour) of the mattress.

I'd also be interested in hearing about your experience of the study itself. I only had the one before I got my CPAP and it was completely uneventful. Even the video they gave me was completely boring - I hardly moved and didn't even say anything interesting. LOL!

Jealous of the TempurPedic. We also would like one eventually. People keep raving about them.

Good luck!
