Listen closely.

Ganked from [livejournal.com profile] jehosefatz .  Listen very carefully.

The lyrics
, should you need them. Bruce, Sus'? I think QC ought to add this to the regular show. :)

themadblonde: (Top Secret!)

I a reminded...

of a scene from "Top Secret"

Ey-thay ar-ray oing-gay oo-tay y-fray oo-yay in the air-chay....

Oh. My. Goodness.

I so agree. Now, as to whether we'd get *away* with it....

Thanks, I needed the laugh!

How about we work it up this weekend - it's just open 5ths, easiest harmony in the world...

(I have a printout of the lyrics...)

And, yeah...I *really* needed that laugh, too.

Oh, sure you'd get away with it. Once, maybe twice. :)

*facepalm*

Of course, I couldn't get past the way they were slaughtering the pronunciation of the Latin in the chorus to make sense of the verses until I looked at the lyrics.

Ye gods....

The singers are German, so I would guess that might account for some of the pronunciation.

The real question: could you get through it with a straight face..?

[identity profile] rowangolightly.livejournal.com 2009-04-24 09:30 pm (UTC)(link)
That is the very question I asked...

Of course, I did living statues for about 15 years; I'm pretty good about keeping a straight face.
