Not a good day...

Michelle is as sick as I've ever seen her in our fifteen years together.  A trip to the doctor yesterday probably staved off a trip to the hospital, but given her blood oxygen levels (wayyy to low) the doctor is concerned about pneumonia.  Prescribed the usual antibiotics and a cough syrup with Vicoden in it.  Waiting to see what happens tomorrow.  So I'm home today, taking care of J.  (K is at her grandparents; thank God for them: they helped us through M's difficult pregnancy, and they love K as much as their own child.)  I don't know his schedule and how much he eats, so I'm certain I've been underfeeding him and he's been fussy all day.  Hard to work from home when you're taking care of a five month old and the only time you've got is when he's asleep.

Day's almost done, though.  Soon as he wakes up from the current nap and has his supper, we'll pack off to the grocery store.  Praying for a better tomorrow.

I'm so very sorry to hear that Michelle is ill. Hope that the drugs will knock the shit out of whatever she's got quickly.

I'll be keeping you both in my thoughts.

I too, hope Michelle pulls out of this soon. It truly sucks being sick, and it's not one of the "hobbies" I wish on anybody... :( I'll keep y'all in my thoughts and prayers.

I also hope you can keep your sanity when dealing with your young'uns... :)

Thank you (you too, Red). Dealing with the young'uns is easy. It's having to take phone calls from work and trying to maintain at least a semblance of a normal work day while doing so that makes it truly hard. Thankfully, K was with M's parents, so all I had to work with was J.
