Three things that bug me
Another game of TAG!
List 3 things that bug you - things that others may find trivial. Then tag 5 of your friends. Only list 3 things because you may/can be tagged again.
1) Lack of phone courtesy, which includes eating/chewing gum (I've been known to cut calls short with "Call me back when you're done with lunch"), or having unrelated side conversations leaving the listener waiting. I hate the phone anyway. Why make the experience that much more unpleasant?
2) Interruptions, specifically when I'm trying to follow a train of thought, which is not and has never been easy for me. I had a good portion of my memory and ability to mentally sort stuff abused/neglected out of me while I was growing up, and having kids only made it worse (that 40 point IQ hit mommies take isn't reserved just for mommies). This would include: phone calls (see #1, above); kids; bosses; clients...aw, hell, just about anything and everyone. This does not include emails from friends through my work day: that's how I survive.
3) My own impatience, specifically where others are concerned. Case in point: my partner here at the office frequently asks me questions about procedure or coding or functionality in our product. About half the time, it's questions he's asked me a dozen times before. About half of those times, it's been the same day. About half of those, within the last hour. I know, in my brain at least, that he's got a hundred items he's tracking on his own mental shelves and that the information I'm giving him isn't stuff he necessarily needs to store for a long time, but it still pisses me off, and it shouldn't.
Adjunct to that is others' impatience with me, specifically where it concerns my ability to process and retain information. (See #2)
So, there you have it, friends. I tag

And, as a message to
